My days go to space, technology, and how we advance as a species. Above all, manufacturing the things that will take us there. The hours in between go to eating, sleeping, reading, and working out.

The short version

I live lean. A minimalist streak runs through everything I own and all of what I do. If it doesn't need to be there, it's not there. I care a great deal about making money and building things that last. A blank canvas doesn't intimidate me, nor a messy one, but an idle canvas bores me.

Where it started

Most of it traces back to my father. He taught me about space before I could read properly, and that early wonder never wore off. He taught me the basics of how to code, too. We built my first computer together when I was very young, then installed and configured linux on it until the machine felt like mine. The 3D printer arrived next, naturally, he showed me the basics of that as well.

I owe him a great deal, and nearly all of what I'm curious about. He inspired me more than anyone.

Before the work

My early childhood pastimes were mostly Lego and Minecraft, and later games like Skyrim and Call of Duty. Homework got the back seat, unless I was learning something new, in which case it got done, and I enjoyed doing it. I love to learn, but for me, school was slow and repetitive. Regurgitating information rather than thinking critically, stuck waiting for the slowest person to finish. I got out of there as soon as I could.

What I do

On the business side: ecommerce, marketing, and software. On the making side: 3D modelling, architecture and design. In the past: mods, operating system UI/UX design, graphic design and photography.

Sometimes they all blend together. Different tools, one instinct to take an idea and make it into something real.

Off the clock

Outside the day to day work, I'm pulled toward architecture, art and sculpture, fashion, and the gym; obsessed with form and proportion. They feed everything else, and keep me sane.

Why this exists

I built this website as a home for the work I create; current projects, future projects, products, and the ideas still circling. A profile and a showcase, nothing more than that. If some of it catches your interest, I'm glad, that's the point. If you've got a project you'd like to collaborate on, or just want to chat, I'm always open to that. Feel free to reach out.

Thanks for reading.
